The Public Art Scheme of InPARK (also known as Tsun Yip Street Playground) was organized by the Art Promotion Office, Leisure and Cultural Services Department and supported by the Energizing Kowloon East Office. The public artworks feature key local industries in the past and showcase how seamlessly industrial culture elements can be integrated into urban designs.
Play Concept is honored to have participated in the creation of Lau Mei Po and Yan Chin Wing’s artwork, Cam⁴ Kau⁴, which represents the plastics industry and reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980 plastic ball with red and white stripes. The shapes of these balls appear to be deflated and have been transformed into sculptures so that people can sit and relax at the park.
