The founder of Play Concept Judie was invited to take part in an interview with Milk Magazine, and to assist them with the creation of their historical video for 'Spring Rider', which sharing the evolution of playground facilities.
The video introduces one of the popular playground facilities in Hong Kong, the "Spring Rider", in a fun and vivid way. In fact, Spring Rider has a long history that can be traced back to the 18th and 19th centuries, when people made horse toys for children to practice riding. The first Spring Rider appeared in the 1960s. Today, most parks in Hong Kong provide Spring Riders for children to play, and most designs are using the steel spring type, weighing around 50kgs-70kgs. The more force you use to swing, the stronger the steel spring's recoil force, which can train children's overall muscle strength, balance, and communication skills.
